Edward is a member of the University of Glasgow Chapel Choir directed by Dr Katy Lavinia Cooper and a founder member of the Glasgow-based early music ensemble, iuchair.
Edward is also a freelance choral singer (tenor) and regularly deputizes for choirs in the Central Belt of Scotland.
During his time at the University of Glasgow, Edward co-founded the Opera Society and served as Secretary and later Treasurer.
During his PhD Edward co-founded the ‘Spheres of Singing’ conference which brought together researchers of singing across academic disciplines. The conferences took place online in 2020 and 2022.
